1.1 Should I wash my hair before brushing?
- Yes! Our DefineBrush works best on washed, soaking wet hair. On wet hair with curl cream applied, the brush's ridged edges help gather strands into curl clumps. On dry hair, brushing pulls curls apart instead. So style straight after washing, and don't towel-dry first.
The order:
- Wash and condition.
- While your hair is still soaking wet, work Curl Cream through the mid-lengths and ends.
- Brush section by section with the Define Brush.
- Finish with Styling Gel and scrunch upwards, then air-dry or diffuse on low heat.
Not a wash day? No need to wash again, but please don't brush it dry. Re-wet it with a spray bottle and add a little product first.
1.2 How do I get the best curl using the brush?
On soaking-wet hair with curl cream applied, grab a section and brush it from the roots outwards. Turn the brush slightly as you go so the hair is held against the ridged edge with a little tension. As it slides off the edge, you should see it form ribbon curls.
1.3 Why are there different bristles on the brush?
- In order to get the perfect curl we've combined three types of vegan boar bristles, that help get your curls exactly the way you want them.
1.4 Will this brush hold a curl in my hair?
- Yes! The DefineBrush is specially designed to not only give your curls incredible bounce and definition but also to hold a curl throughout the day.
1.5 What is the delivery time?
- We now offer discounted flat rate shipping prices on all orders.
Due to high demand for our products, minor delays may occur.
Order processing takes 1-3 business days before shipment. Once your item/s is dispatched, the estimated delivery time is:
- Australia: 7-10 business days
Use your Complete Kit, Giftbox or Curl Cream subscription for up to 60 days. If it's not right for your curls, we'll give you a full refund even though you've used it, or 110% of what you paid in store credit if you'd prefer.
- Complete Kits and Giftboxes: your 60 days start on the day your order is delivered.
- Curl Cream subscriptions: you're eligible once your first renewal payment has gone through, so from your second tub onwards.
To claim, email support@definecurls.com.au with your order number, a short note on what didn't work, and a photo or video. We'll cover any return postage.
